The long burn to Austin Texas

So I am almost in Austin, but I decided to hang out in Sonoma Texas before pushing through to Austin due to an attack from a killer headache. This was a great idea as there was an awesome steak house that actually grows their own cattle in a ranch that is right behind the restaurant. They've got their own chisholm trail from the grazing field to the slaughter house and onto the grill all within 500 yards of each other...

Well, here's some pix...

Let's get going...

Dinner in LA.

Who knew you could park your jet anywhere in the desert?

Not much else to do in the arizona desert.

Target practice? Or do the dessert critters like cactus?

Zoom...

Yawn...

A whole lotta nothing...

Looks like someone cut this mountain down the middle. On the opposite side is the exact thing.

This is Kent elementry school...or what's left of it...

But the one thing that's for sure about driving along the 10 route is that you sure get some serious dead time where your thoughts can get pretty strange.

Who knew that Jeff Kent had an elementary school named after him? And it seems to be working out well.

Told you that home-killed beef weren't like nuthin you ever had out there in pinko-freako cali.

Is that a Thud? KeWL...

you sure get some serious dead time where your thoughts can get pretty strange.

When the front part of your brain is occupied with a task, like chanting, repeating a mantra, or driving, and the back part of your brain starts kinda doing it's own thing, making odd connections and going in surprising directions, this is called "MEDITATION". It tends to be good for you. Now, it's important to bear in mind that for everybody the thoughts don't necessarilly get that strange. You're really seeing whats going on inside of YOUR head. And you, mi amigo, are a little strange.

Good luck and be careful, m'man, and keep 'em coming...
